Northern Beech is timber mix of a variety of species. Its colour tends towards pale to medium straw, but can contain some yellow hues. Its most dominant features are gum veins and pin holes. This hardwood is of a medium to hard density, and is particularly suitable in domestic settings.

Prestige: Flooring in this grade is predominately Select grade blended with some moderately featured flooring. Gum veins, gum pockets, insect trails, burls and borer holes, are some of the interesting characteristic’s that will be more prevalent in Prestige.
Rustic Grade: A full featured floor to provide an old world charm. It will contain large numbers of natural features that are more prominent but will retain the structural integrity.
Select Grade: The Features that are present in Select grade flooring are relatively small and few in number, and although they are visible the features do not dominate the appearance of the floor.
Standard Grade (Medium Feature): Flooring in this grade will be moderately featured. Gum veins, gum pockets, insect trails, burls and borer holes, are some of the characteristic’s that will be more prevalent in Standard Grade.
Feature Grade (High Feature): Feature grade flooring is heavily peppered with natural features particularly large gum veins.
