European oak parquet flooring offers a classic look that adds warmth and character to any room. What Are The Benefits Of European Oak Parquet Flooring?

When considering flooring options, European oak parquet flooring stands out for its stability and durability, setting it apart from other hardwood choices. Unlike some hardwoods prone to warping and shrinking, European oak is renowned for its resilience and resistance. Its robust nature minimises the need for frequent maintenance or repairs, making it a practical and cost-effective investment for any space. Whether compared to laminate flooring, tile, or even other hardwoods, European oak parquet is a superior choice for homeowners and designers seeking classic design and performance in their flooring solutions.

What Maintenance Is Required For Oak Parquetry Flooring?

Maintaining oak parquetry flooring is relatively straightforward and can help preserve its beauty for years to come. Regular sweeping or vacuuming to remove dirt and debris is recommended to prevent scratching and wear. Additionally, occasional mopping with a damp cloth and a mild wood floor cleaner can help keep the flooring looking its best. It's essential to avoid excessive moisture and harsh cleaning products, as these can damage the wood.

Is European Oak Parquet Flooring Suitable for All Rooms in My Home?

While European oak parquet flooring is incredibly versatile and can enhance the design appeal of various rooms in your home, it may not be the ideal choice for areas prone to moisture, such as bathrooms and laundry rooms. Excessive moisture can cause the wood to warp or buckle over time. However, it is well-suited for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and even kitchens, as long as spills are promptly cleaned up and the floor is properly maintained. Consider consulting with a flooring specialist to determine the best flooring options for each room in your home.

CLASSIC GRADE A subtle feature grade of timber flooring that provides a low level of natural features. The low levels of natural feature present the floor with a uniform look that is best suited to modern, minimalist styles.

Prime Grade
Also known as Select or AB grade is the highest of the three grades of flooring and would usually have the following characteristics: Slight colour variation between the boards and more uniform look except for timbers where variation in colour adds to its beauty and is the main feature of the wood. The grain is straighter than in other grades and sometimes the boards have very few, infrequent small knots unless these are specific to the beauty of the timber. Prime grade wooden floors are the most expensive due to the limited supply in the raw material.
