The steps on how to install laminate hardwood flooring is not as tough as installing actual hardwood floors. Laminate hardwood floors only look like real hardwood planks, but in fact, it is made up of natural cellulose from aluminium oxide. It is compose of three to four layers, which are compressed tightly by pressing machine. The top most layer is the fibrous composition of aluminium oxide. The second layer is made up of a resin material, which creates the design similar to a grain pattern of a wood. The third and fourth layers are composed of actual wood. These wood layers are softer compare to the planks, which are used in hardwood flooring.
Hardwood floor has two types, the multi-layered hardwood flooring and the single-layer hardwood flooring. The multi-layered hardwood flooring is well engineered with at least three layers of hard planks. Each strip of wood is perpendicularly glued to each other to become more stable and durable. It is also known as engineered hardwood flooring. On the other hand, the single-layer hardwood flooring is made of a solid piece of wood. There is no intervention of any engineering process except timber cutting.
